There was never a time you didn’t feel the urge to write. So much of your life you spent putting that need second. Second to school, to fitting in, to friends, and then to work and relationships.
Every time you put it second you felt like you were sacrificing a little part of yourself, didn’t you?
You knew you wanted to turn your passion into your career, knew it would make you happier than anything else, but you still refused to give it your all.
It took you such a long time to make it your priority. To make yourself a priority. Pleasing everyone else felt more important.
Last year you learnt an important lesson. You learnt that it’s impossible to control anyone else’s happiness, but you can control your own. This year, writing has to be your priority.
YOU have to be your priority!
