Recent world events have made me certain that art is more important than ever. That we writers need to dig our heels in and create against all oppression.
And while it has made me feel that what we write is more important than ever, it has also made me feel that writing about creating art is not. We blog to further ourselves, we write to further others. I know which I will be putting my energy into for the time being.
